Below are the steps to posting a photo so people can view it, hopefully this will help new members post photos of their lovely cattle, etc.
1) Start a new thread OR click "Reply" at the bottom of a thread.
(There's a quick reply button, but you don't want to press that, go to the right of the box and click the dark green "Reply" button.)
2) A new screen will pop up with a row of buttons. Click the landscape button.
3) A box will pop up with a spot to enter an internet address.
4) Find the image you want to post in the thread. Note: You CANNOT directly add a photo from your computer. The photo needs to be uploaded somewhere online. I use Facebook and Wordpress. TinyPic and Tapatalk and likely other programs work. Anything where you can upload a photo online and then click on the photo to obtain it's "web address". Photobucket does not work anymore, for most people.
RIGHT CLICK on your mouse while hovering over photo. There should be several options. Look for one that says "Copy Image Address". Note: You may need to open the photo to get a viable address. For example, if you're looking at an album of photos on facebook, you can't just right click on the thumprint of the photo to get an image address. You'll need to click on that photo so it pops up in its full size, then right click to copy the web address. If I can't get a photo to show, I try clicking or not clicking to open up a photo, depending where you are working from, different methods work.
5) Paste the image address in the box, then click "Insert Image":
6) Your link will show up looking something like this. Click "Create Thread" or "Create Post" - look over your created post to make sure the image copied properly.
This sounds confusing at first, but is pretty easy once you try it a time or two. Good luck!
