Hello everyone! I know that if anyone knows how to help me it is the knowledgeable people on this forum! You are all awesome!
So around a year ago I starting having pretty severe lower stomach pain, blood red urine, chronic lower pain, and very frequent urination. After being treated for a urinary/ kidney infection for 4 weeks that never resolved, I was sent to a specialist. Come to find out my culture never grew bacteria, so I never had an infection to begin with but the doctors at the clinic didn't know what else to do for my severe pain so the thrrough antibiotics at me. It took me 3 months to get in to see a specialist. I ended up at the emergency room in severe pain one time and had several scans done because the doctors believed I was passing a kidney stone or that I had kidney stones that were causing my pain. I found out that I had no stones at all even though my brother' s kidneys are full of them!
I dealt with the pain as best I could and it seemed to come and go. Some days it was unbearable, some days a slight nag,and yet some days it was in between. Once I finally got in to see the specialist,he did an inpatient scoping up into my bladder and diagnosed me with a huge medical term. Basically, the lining of my bladder is dissolving. He offered me a list of food and drinks to not eat and told me I would be dealing with this for the rest of my life. He also told me he could have me come in once a week and have a catheter put in and chemicals put into my bladder. NO WAY! It was not a cure and it was not even a sure thing that the chemicals would help at all. He did suggest a diet to help the bladder lining not dissolve so fast. Anyway, I am on a strict diet of no acids, including lemon, orange, tomatoes, sodas, caffenes, vinegars, berries and much, much more. The restrictions have helped. I hate not eating certain fruits because I love fruit and I know it is so good for me, but the pain is too much to bear when I do eat them. I was never a caffene or soda drinker, so those don't bother me at all.
Has anyone else dealt with this health issue? Is there any herbs thst could heal my bladder? Thank you so for taking the time to read my terribly long post!
