I got some Biocel CBT from Agri dynamics. Jerry Brunetti says to give 50 cc sub q. But exactly where and how. A book i have says to give in the loose skin at the top of the udder where it meets the back thigh. I tried that and she did not like it at all, so I only got a couple cc in her. We even have her tail way up.
So is there another location that might be safer for me to do. I am really new at shots and very nervous.
In case your curious, Biocel CBT is some kind of colostrum whey product, and in the book "Treating Dairy Cattle naturally" ( I Think thats the name) Says to give this CBT stuff sub q, even though the label says orally. I am sure its some kind of fda red tape of why they cant say how to really use it.

50 cc is a lot to give SQ, so you may need to rotate sites. My favorite spots are between the shoulder blades, behind the fron leg, the neck--anywhere you can pinch up a tent of skin, slip the needle in and push. It will make a balloon if you give more than a few cc's, but it will absorb in a day or so. Good luck!
Live fully. Love life. Go play outside. It works for me!
sub q I give in 5 cc shots...mostly behind the front leg that way the leg movement will work it in..will not leave a bump on the neck like you see sometimes.......tjm
