Swine Flu?

I just got sent an interesting article (http://www.healthtruthrevealed.com/articles/10344711404/article) that posits the Swine Flu as being a manufactured, man-made virus. I don't quite know what to think about all that. I suppose it could be so.

I know that they keep comparing SARS or this Mexican Flu with that of 1918, but I've long thought that they've got the 1918 flu all wrong. I've done a lot of reading about Homeopathy, and know that Homeopathic doctors were treated as peers of Allopathic (AMA) physicians, back then (as compared to now). In fact, they were used as military docs, and had virtually no patients lost to the flu during that epidemic, where allopaths lost huge percentages of their patients. Homeopaths wouldn't accept patients who'd taken Aspirin for flu-type symptoms, as they considered them walking dead. From all my reading, Aspirin was the newest wonder drug back then. It was the hey day of allopathic doctors telling their patients to "take two aspirin and call me in the morning"! Well, nowadays, Aspirin is know to cause Reye's Syndrome in young people, but it also stops the body's immune response to viruses (http://www.masterjules.net/aspirinflu.htm) and allows any virus to completely overwhelm the body, resulting in pneumonia and death. No wonder they lost most of their patients. I can't help but think something similar is going on with this newest flu bug. It seems like we're constantly being "scared" into taking the next wonder drug that comes down the pike, lining pharmaceutical pockets at the potential cost of our lives.

Just an aside...I grew up with a mother who wouldn't take an Aspirin or pain killer for anything. I never understood that, not understanding why you had to suffer pain needlessly. She said that her Dad had been a Medic in WWI, hated Aspirin, and wouldn't have it in the house. She said that she didn't know why he felt that way, but that she trusted him. Well, now so do I! He must have put two and two together in the trenches and realized that Aspirin was potentially quite deadly.

I work in the Natural Products industry and word is if Aspirin were a new drug now the FDA would never pass it to be sold to the public.
Elderberry is an excellent anti-viral and the only thing we use for influenza or any other envelope virus.

The word we've gotten back from our Homeopathic doctor is to use Oscillicoccinum (http://www.naturallifemagazine.com/0502/flu.htm) and Influenzinum (http://www.urvitalhealth.com/store/product.php?productid=18). Oscillicoccinum has done wonderful things for us, esp. if taken at the onset of symptoms. It's made from ducks and/or geese, I believe, so it's also specific for "avian flu". Be aware that, as with any homeopathic remedy, less is actually more. Osci comes in tiny "BB" form, packed in little tubes, is now available in most high end grocery stores and pharmacies, and it a bit pricey. However, though the directions say to take an entire tube of BBs every 6 hours or so, you can just take 3-4 BBs under your tongue instead, and put a similar number in whatever you are drinking throughout the day.
