That's the BioTracking kind of sorta logo/mantra. (Hey, it's what they do!)
In my case, she isn't-- --I got Dolly's results from them yesterday....OPEN. (.0852 was the number they gave me.)
She was supposed to be due in mid March, I think she slipped or reabsorbed the calf in December or late November sometime....as when I went to dry her off in January (gasp, yes!) I chalked her "goofiness" up to preggo hormones that day. BUT, I did mark the calendar.....sure enough, three weeks later, she was "goofy" again. (No wonder I couldn't bump a calf! She was bred to a mini, so I was secretly hoping, maybe it's just a small calf......yeah right!)
I pulled blood last weekend (and yes, ended up doing the milk vein--I got one drop from the tail!) and mailed it off this past monday.
I will wait until May to re-breed her, I don't want her to calve and me to start milking in January again!
Sigh, it's my own fault.....I SHOULD of sent a test in earlier. At least the numbers would of showed "something was up" before too much time went by.....but her udder was "deflating" good, and then it got big--I contributed it to hormones....then starting putting things together, ugh. (Hindsight is 20/20 or however they say that!)
I think I'm going to get some herbs to help increase milk production and put into her feed. (And if I really want "help", let her calf out to help me with the milk-jump starting. He may be a year old+, but she offers, so I will use it to MY advantage this time!)
Not conventional, I know, but that is just me, anyhow! ;D
Any suggestions or ideas would be appreciated......I'm trying to comb thru old posts here, and flying by the seat of my pants on this one. (Imagine that!)

PS Mitra, when you said Helen wasn't dry, but you found out she was open.....things really started "clicking" in my head.....and that is what got me to thinking.....I'm pretty sure I was in denial, until "Here's Your Sign" was plastered on my forehead, by my own cow!
