Ok got the regulator thingy figured out, I had it set around 15ish and then it drops to 12-13 once on the cow or washer. I am pretty sure I have the pulsations set at about 54.
Now nother question. I got all the above set and working. While I was counting pulsations I had it running for several minutes with the inflation plugs in it or my fingers and it held the pressure great hovering right around that 12-13 ish. So I went ahead and set up the jetter washer, got that figured out and then hooked my claw up to it, plugged in the little hose on the side, clamped the milk hose to build vacuum in the tank and then once it was up to 15 I undid the clamp and let it start sucking water and washing. Worked wonderfully for about a minute or so then it started losing vacuum. I finally had to clamp the milk hose again to build up the vaccuum again. I kept having to do this all the way through the wash water, and then also the rinse water. Wasn't impressed, checked and rechecked all my connections couldn't find anything that was loose or leaking. So got it clean and decided to try it out on the cows and see if it did the same thing. Got the cows in, cleaned them up,, they looked sideways at the bucket milker, their eyes bugged out of their heads when I turned the machine on, but other then that they stood like champs. But I still kept losing pressure, I kept having to clamp the milk hose until the vaccum came back up enough to suck the milk out. That was the first cow. For some reason on the second cow, it started to lose pressure then stopped at the 12-13 and stayed there the entire time and worked like it was supposed to. I think dumped the milk into pails to carry to the house, and took the machine back to the washer, and it did the same losing vaccuum routine again. So irritating.
So does anyone have any ideas on what I am doing wrong with this thing.? I don't know enough to know what I am supposed to be doing. I wish you all lived closer so I could call you up and you could walk me through this or better yet just come over and fix it for me and show me how to run it.
Well I am going to bed its getting late here. I'll check in the morning before I go out and see what wonderful words of wisdom you guys have imparted.
Thanks so much for spending your time walking me through this.
