Some of you have asked to see some pictures of Daisy's condition (both for body weight reference and how she's getting along as far as baby is concerned!) I took some pictures of her this morning. I'm going to try to post just a few pictures of her on this post for those of you who have slower internet connection, but I'm also going to try to post a link directly to the photobucket album they're in so you can see more pictures I took today.
She's been gooping for a month now, but still....goop..and swelling lily.
Goopalicious and udderific! She's bagged up a lot in the last 24 hours. (I know it could get a lot bigger though!)
Her overall condition. She was licking her side a lot and her tail seems to be much looser and bonier.
The P-nut gallery. These are my 3 oldest.
She just didn't want to put her tail down! She had it somewhat held up the whole time I was down there taking photos this morning! (made for clearly photographing "things" though!)
Daisy from the right.
"Why do you keep taking pictures of my butt?!?!?!"
I'm tellin' ya, those back quarters have NEVER come CLOSE to looking like they do now. That staph must have really been messin' with them before we "hopefully" got rid of it all.
I couldn't help but post this one. I actually accidentally took this of my 3 yr old, Katie Mae, but I just had to post it.
She's still eating her hay and grain (Daisy that is, not Katie Mae). She took a 4 hour nap this afternoon; I don't think she's in labor now, but I just know she's getting close. 1 day? 1 week? What do I know? Nothing. Her actually due date based on her date of breeding (which WAS a bull, not AI) is Dec. 5th.
If you want to see the rest of the pictures I took today, click below (I hope).
