So many people claim gluten intolerance now. In the meantime, they barely leave the house, carry a bottle of hand sanitizer that is constantly being used, drink bottled water and will have a bag of potato chips or store bought cookies for a snack. Then if they ate something for a meal that was real food and felt off after eating it, it had to be that and not any of the other daily stuff.
But even more so, while I might wonder about their absolute obsession with any grain products (they were also going on a no casein for inflammation purposes also as well as taking after fat shortly ), I know something is up with grain in my family, because I have two who are absolutely sensitive to gluten. I could write off my inlaws and sister's gluten intolerance as bad "diet" (but not because they disinfect things), BUT my own two get raw milk, grassfed beef and milk, fermented products etc, we have not purchased meat or eggs or dairy in 13 years, we produce most of our own veggies and eat very minimal sugar. They are absolutely surrounded by bacteria and germs, and yet they respond immediately to any form of grains with gluten.
I totally agree that people have reactions to food. Just not in the massive amounts that are being claimed.
You probably know more of what is put in your body than most people.
But, lots of them are from the city, eating store bought bread, made with wheat that God only knows what has been done to it. Drinking homogenized milk, eating margarine, fruit and vegetables from every country in the world. Drenching themselves in designer soaps, lotions, hair colors and whatever else they may be using. Of course there is going to be reactions. I think there is more going on than just the food.
I just don't believe that food is the enemy for most of these people. Ok, food is the enemy, because they don't know what has been done to it. They also have no choice, because they have to eat.
I react to certain foods. Had a dessert that one of my farm friends made, thinking it would be ok. Nope, it had Cool Whip instead of real cream. I felt like someone had me in a vise grip around my rib cage. Margarine makes me gag, although that could just be a mental reaction.
