This is the edited version of what I have sent to a few others via pm.
I will start with the easy stuff : eat meat, drink water, rinse, repeat. Eat the meat you like and can afford or grow.
No need for supplements of any kind. Meat with the fat that it naturally includes has all the nutrients needed for health and what it doesn't have, the body is able to manufacture. Carbs are not necessary for the brain to function. The brain is perfectly able to make the glucose as it needs to in a process called gluconeogenesis and it does it very efficiently.
When asked about this, people usually wonder what is eaten. It is simple, eat meat, drink water whenever hungry and however much you can eat.
Beef becomes the favorite for most people, but any combination of beef, pork, lamb, deer, goat, poultry, eggs, fish, seafood, rabbit, squirrel, elk, moose, or any other meat is fine. If the meat is very lean, like rabbit, you may find that your body will want you to use a preparation method that adds a little fat to it, such as sauteing in butter or bacon drippings.
Eggs, cheese, and dairy products usually end up as being sort of side dishes, or toppings for meat.
Limited amounts of coffee and tea are fine, as long as no sweeteners, real or artificial, and no artificial creamers are used. Heavy cream is delicious in coffee and something I enjoy after eating. Some lose their taste for coffee or tea over time, and some choose to stick to just beef and water or just a couple types of meat and water exclusively. Your body will tell you what to do.
A few imbibe with an occasional glass of wine or liquor, but this is considered a non-optimal and there are many who lose their taste for alcohol quickly. Beer is not drank.
Plants (grains, flours, vegetable oil, coconut oil, veggies, fruits, berries) and any form of sweeteners are never consumed. No soda or juices, even those that are artificially sweetened are consumed.
This is not a diet. It is a way of eating for life and health. We do not fast, take supplements, count calories or macros, eat spoonfuls of coconut oil, or any of the other things common in the Keto diet world. Most people settle into eating 2-3 pounds of meat per day, broken up in two or three meals. But some eat a lot more and some may do just fine on a little less. The thing is to always eat until completely satiated. Cravings disappear, usually around day two or three and most lose their urge to snack.
A lot of people do start eating this way to lose weight and lose very quickly, but some, particularly those with a lot of metabolic damage from past dieting or other health issues will actually gain for a few months as their body heals before they begin to thin out. But even these people notice changes in their body, with noticeable muscle development and the loss of inches and sizes even when the scale says they are gaining or staying the same.
Hubs has lost thirty pounds and reduced his blood pressure meds in half in just six weeks. We expect he will be able to stop taking the meds completely within a couple more months.
I didn't do this to lose weight, but I have seen my body lean out and become stronger and have had to buy jeans that are four sizes smaller than I have worn in decades. And my hair is much thicker and nearly all the gray has not been replaced with new brown growth. Nails also grow extremely fast.
My favorite thing about this, however, is the strength and endurance I am regaining from this. I have five gallon buckets placed in strategic locations all over this farm that give me a place to sit and rest while doing chores. I rarely use them now and am relying on my walking stick less and less. I walk more upright and with much less pain than I have in many years. And I sleep like a rock and wake up feeling rested. I went grain/sugar free a few years back and saw some improvements in my health, but this is a hundred-fold better.
Here are the two main informational websites for this way of eating. There are thousands of people eating this way as a family, even while pregnant or nursing and many families have weaned their kids from the breast to this way of eating and those kids are radiantly healthy without all the food allergies, ADHD, etc. that are so prevalent today.

www.zerocarbhealth.com/
There are also facebook groups, but again, only the two associated with the websites above are actually ran by veterans of this way of eating that have walked the walk and talked the talk for several years or even decades.
If you want to see some real life success stories of people who have eaten this way for a long time now and have made the news because of it:
Joe and Charlene Anderson and (she cured debilitating Lyme's disease) Her, her husband and their two young sons all eat this way.
thenortheasttoday.com/anderson-family-on-meat-diet-for-17-years/
Kelly Williams Hogan - healed her infertility and has three beautiful children, probably close to ten years now
myzerocarblife.jamesdhogan.com/wp/2015/01/my-doctor-said-lose-100-pounds/
There are people who have healed their diabetes, blood pressure, fertility, digestion, chronic fatigue, depression, anxiety, and even one young guy who cured himself of an inoperable brain tumor.
Much of the reasoning behind eating this way comes from a decades old book "The Fat of the Land" by Vilhjalmur Stefansson, an anthropologist who studied Eskimo and other tribes of people who ate a meat and fat based diet and published many studies that modern medicine ignores.
( a pdf copy of the book is here : lookaside.fbsbx.com/file/The-fat-of-the-land.pdf?token=AWwhnMlGmuqJQ7IwDgOuA9PmyC1Px1o6d81up3zj7LZNI3uacvYlXAKBE7s7V97_V7lDgXIw_3cTtBHYwSjvr_evDnpGK1GJe-7h_yR1-10dgBxUUqOcd4HXS042unCKhkkeirXmqF9SHKM4i6WZhecomu-8oCSwxKfNfvvQl6upgw )
There are others but, IMO, they wonder off the reservation too much and continually try to justify fasting or eating spoons of fat, etc. which is not necessary or helpful So proceed carefully if you delve into those sites.
Modern medicine is not a fan of this, because they have been trained from birth that eating veggies is critical to health so there are limited studies available. Even worse, most people find that discussing this with their doctors gets them reprimanded, even though their bloodwork after six months of this way of eating shows normal, healthy readings in every category.
One doctor, Shawn Baker has just completed a ninety day study using volunteers from allover the globe.
www.15minutecorporatewarrior.com/podcast/shawn-baker-zero-carb-2/ which I hope will help make this more mainstream.
Possible negatives: Nearly everyone will go through a period of being very tired during their first few weeks of eating this way as the body relearns how to burn fat instead of carbs. (I took a ten am nap for two weeks straight to keep from falling asleep at the keyboard. But it passed quickly and was replaced with more energy than I have had in years.)
A few people experience diarrhea for a few days at the beginning. Hubs did for about a week. In most cases, though, diarrhea is stopped by reducing fat intake. Those who eat too little fat may have some constipation, which is remedied by choosing fattier cuts of meat or using more butter or lard in the preparation.
Now that we are both eating this way, my fridge contains only meat, eggs, and dairy products and my cupboards and pantry are bare, except for some sea salt, pepper, and few seasonings. When I grocery shop, I only buy bacon (because we sped through all of ours already), coffee, tea, seafood, and some chicken or turkey. Grocery shopping is a ten minute process limited to a couple of aisles instead of an hour and costs far less than buying carbs. This is first year I have not canned or pickled or gardened in years and it felt really good.
Some questions to consider: Most people are aware that plants are able to continue to propagate by making themselves or their seeds inedible or indigestible to the animals that eat them. For example many seeds pass intact through the intestinal system of our cows and are perfectly able to sprout and grow after their journey. Many are poison or taste bad to keep them from being eaten.
What if the very defense mechanisms plants possess actually cause oxidation and degeneration of the human body and the reason we have been taking anti-oxidants and vitamins? What if this damage is cumulative over the years? What if the push to eat more plant foods, and the modifications being done to them, has contributed to the epidemic proportions of ADHD, cancer, obesity, diabetes and high blood pressure?
Final note: Know that this goes against all the guidelines and marketing done by agricultural, pharmaceutical, food and health industries and they will give you flak because it isn't what they were taught or what they want to believe, given the opportunity to do so. That does not matter to me, but it might matter to some of you, so proceed with caution.
I will check back in from time to time. I have a pound of sirloin calling my name...
