I love reading these storys! Butttt... Mine isn't has fancy as all of yours.
I remember when I was about ten my best friend Chloe (a year older then me) was already making money and going on with her life. My parents used to be super strick and wouldn't let me go to anyways house, but I remember when they finnaly did. See, I was raised around milk goats my whole entire life, man I know a lot about goats. Cows, I'm still learning. But anyways, I never clicked with the goats. Don't get me wrong, I love em to death. But I knew there was a better animal for me out there. Then I went to Chloes. I never really knew how she madr money, but man, I looked up to that girl to a unhealthy level. But, we were hanging out, and she said "c'mon, wanna helo me milk Trish?" I instantly thought "goat" but no. I go out to the barn and see a huge 800-900 lbs Jersey heifer standing there waiting to be milked. I was shocked. I knew that's whay I wanted. Dang, that cow hated my guts. Rammed me, whipped me, tryed kicking me, but I loved her.
So I got home and went on and on about cows and begged my parents to let me get one, but out fences wouldn't allow it. (Wooden fences. More for looks then to keep animals in) and I did tons and tons of research, learned more and more, hung our with Chloe more and more. But, my parents never gave in. But one day my mom and I were drulling over cows on Craigslist that wr knew we could never have (she to, longed for a Jersey. She grew up on a small old dairy farm in Greebay Wisconsin.) But, then I sae Ginny. And it said "Mini Dexter Cow" our fences could hold a mini! But, my dad said no. I said she could be my birthday present for a lifetime (my bday was in three days) but, it was no. So on my birthday, my mom said she had to pick up some goats at a farm so o decided to tag along. It was a longer drive than usual, but I didn't faze me. We pulled up in this driveway and I saw my dads car and a few cows in the feild. I instantly asked the owner if I may pet her cows, she approved. So I spent the time petting Ginny (the add didn't have a photo, so I was STILL clueless) while my parents saposibly did "businesses" then my dad said "do you like that cow??" And I replied "haha. So much." He then said "good. Because she's yours. Happy birthday, Dejah." I cryed so hard! I was so happy.
We have now moved to where our fences would prohibit a full sized cow, I still own Ginny, I'm still best friends with Chloe, and she still owns Trish. That was probably the happiest day of my life, and the best suprise ever!!!
